I'm in a very fortunate position to be working with my wife and other like-minded individuals, viewing work not just as a means to an end but as an extension of my interests and pastimes! A passion for the outdoors allows me to get under the skin of a product or service; the opportunity to identify with the target audience. I love my fishing, shooting, sailing, diving, windsurfing, bee keeping... well, pretty much everything I can find the time to do.
When we're planning a campaign these days, I find myself talking far more about attitudes than age groups and social profiles. If we're targeting an attitude, we're able to live it, feel it and identify with it.
