Garbolino is part of the French owned SERT group, fishing tackle manufacturers. Garbolino products are top end and, being an established brand already in the UK, it already had the presence and status to begin same targeted brand advertising in the angling press.
Advertising in the angling press is usually very simplistic and had tended to carry the style of a retail advert rather than a branding advert. This approach has achieved little more than brand awareness. Garbolino needed to instantly stand out and achieve some brand positioning.
By using a more strategic approach we have created campaigns with attention grabbing images with differentiating headlines year after year. This has made sure Garbolino has that 'stand out' factor across different media, creating desire and connecting with anglers who don't mind paying a little more to achieve better results.
